description

The UK Department for International Development (now FCDO) funded two projects to recover livelihoods, restore food security, and increase disaster resilience of people most affected by the devastating floods of 2012. The projects were implemented by the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation and Concern Worldwide, supporting about 100,000 people in Balochistan and Sindh. Dech evaluated the project using a quasi-experimental design, employing a panel study of 1717 individuals. The baseline was established in summer 2014, followed by a post-intervention assessment in spring 2015.
